Hi there, I'm Doctor Emily McDonald. It is my passion to help people feel better naturally. I love that Chiropractic has given me the chance to do this so effectively and so powerfully. It excites me to help people 'get their lives back' through Chiropractic. I graduated from RMIT's 5-year master’s course with honour’s and have over ten years’ experience in the Chiropractic profession. Having been adjusted since birth by my father (a Chiropractor for 40 years) and experiencing the amazing benefits first hand of what getting adjusted regularly can do for us I was inspired to become a Chiropractor myself. Chiropractic helps us to be innately healthy 'as we were designed to be'.
A bit more about myself…My husband Mark and I were married here in 2013 on his family property and have lived here ever since. We are very fortunate through Chiropractic to have three vibrantly healthy children Milton, Chloe, and Poppy. Living in town for 4 years with our two golden retrievers Ruby and Tucker and our cat Harry has been a great way to get to know the community. However, our 'dream house' is now complete just outside of town and we are so thrilled and grateful to have moved in.
With the support of the community, One Body Chiropractic is grateful to be a highly respected, sought after healthcare provider for the area. One of our main goals here is to inspire health and wellbeing and improve the quality of life in our community. There's so much more to Chiropractic than most people realise and I can't wait to share it with you and your family and for you all to experience better lives through Chiropractic care.
Please don't hesitate to call us or drop in for more information. I really look forward to meeting you.
I am a busy mum of three amazing young children. Having grown up in Winchelsea my husband I returned after a short period in Brisbane, where we met. My heart is in Winchelsea and I am very proud of our vibrant, growing community. I'm a very practical, hands-on person and enjoy working with a team of like-minded people.
I come from a wide background of experience including pharmacy, medical reception, and even veterinary nursing, but my main field of expertise is bookkeeping and administrative. I pride myself on my ability to learn quickly and identify system improvements. I have recently completed a Cert. IV in Bookkeeping and am looking forward to creating a friendly and efficient environment for Emily.
Realising the possibilities with chiropractic care has been a real eye opener for me and I have been amazed at the positive change in my sleep and daily energy levels after just a few sessions. I am excited to share this with my family and friends.
I look forward to meeting you.
Ebony Berg – Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist
Having grown up here in the Winchelsea community, I'm sure many of our clients will recognise the surname!
I am currently in my first year of university, studying a Bachelor of Health Sciences, with the aim to transfer to a Health and Physical Education Secondary Teaching course at the end of the year.
I have always had a keen interest in health, both my own and improving others. Ongoing chiropractic care was something I never looked into, only getting treatment when pain and injury required it. However after receiving my own ongoing chiropractic care with Dr Emily and along with discussions with our patients, I have become aware of the significant difference it can make to many aspects of your life. A few of the major differences I have seen within my own body is enhanced energy levels during the day and improved sleep.
I look forward to working with Dr Emily and Kerrie to bring about better health and wellbeing for all of the Winchelsea community.
Michael Joos – Remedial Massage Therapist
I am a recently graduated Remedial Massage Therapist with a keen interest in the human body and learning as much as I possibly can about it!
After multiple sporting injuries and many visits to a variety of health professionals, my interest in the human body piqued and I was inspired to do something about it. So, after both working full-time and studying part-time, here I am – doing something I enjoy and helping others along the way.
My belief is that our bodies were designed to heal themselves but may need a little help along the way. This can come in the form of massage, chiro or something else and I enjoy helping and educating others on how to look after themselves and how to better their health. I also believe that the mind plays an important role in our physical health - healthy mind, healthy body!
Just a little bit about myself: I have an eclectic taste in music and enjoy many forms of exercising, particularly long hikes getting lost within nature. I’m a passionate supporter of the old dark navy blues (AFL) and love exploring the world with my lovely wife.
Michael is available on Fridays between 9am and 3.30pm, and Saturday mornings from 9am until 1pm. You can call him on 0424 319 293 to make a booking.
